Over the years David worked on many project’s including: A great Fire place in Windsor Castle, Masonry figures & Lettering on government buildings and more locally Wells Cathedral, Bristol Crown Court building and Howells private School Cardiff. Also Millennium Stones for a number of villages in North Somerset including Burrington, Sandford, Stanton Drew, Norton Malreward, Timsbury and Marksbury.

David’s Memorial Stone projects can be seen in many Churches and cemeteries throughout the area. There is hardly a local church that doesn’t have an example of his work.   See Examples

He’s been carving granite & stone in the Somerset area for years a craft that is being taken over by machines.

The sandblasting machine is replacing the art of crafting the words by hand out of nature’s bedrock. Yes it might be quicker, but carving with skill and years of experience will always shine through in the finished product, Quality will out.

The finished products are of the best quality from Inscriptions on buildings – the entrance to the Crown Court in Bristol, wording on a variety of shapes and sizes of headstones, to hand crafted bespoke kitchen worktops in a variety of hard wearing materials granite, and marble.
